Biography :
Maxime Pellegrin, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Sport Sciences of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He obtained his PhD in Life Sciences from the University of Franche-Comté, France, in 2008. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Division of Angiology at Lausanne University Hospital. His research focuses on the role of different exercise modalities in the prevention and treatment of vascular disorders and on the underlying biological mechanisms. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and received the Swiss Society of Angiology Prize in 2009. He also teaches undergraduates and master’ students in Biology and Sport Sciences at the University of Lausanne.
